Who we are

ExpatVoice is an independent civic initiative helping expatriates in Malta become informed and involved in local civic life.

ExpatVoice is not, at present, a legal entity. It is operated as a personal, non-commercial civic initiative by:

An application to establish ExpatVoice as a formal Voluntary Organisation under the Voluntary Organisations Act (Chapter 492 of the Laws of Malta) is in progress. Once enrolled with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations, the Voluntary Organisation will assume responsibility for this website and become the controller of personal data. We will publish that change here and notify anyone whose data we hold.

This notice is published in accordance with the Electronic Commerce Act (Chapter 426 of the Laws of Malta).

Declaration of interests

The founder of ExpatVoice has other professional and commercial activities. We disclose all of them, in full, on our Transparency & Funding page, including his role as CEO of an iGaming company, his directorship of The Dell Ltd, and his ownership of ResidenteAllEstero.com, a commercial media portal for Italians living abroad.

None of these has any role in ExpatVoice, any access to ExpatVoice data, or any influence over what ExpatVoice publishes or campaigns for. ExpatVoice does not share data, subscribers, content or traffic with any of them, and never will.

We publish this openly rather than waiting to be asked.
